One of a series of three greetings cards - from the original paintings 'Peace, Love and Unity'. Sustainably printed and packed in biodegradable cornstarch display bags, these cards give an eco-conscious statement in both their production and the word in the image.
The original 'Love' was painted in empathy with those who have lost a loved one. The universal 'love' that links us all shifts when somebody passes away, but it never leaves. The letters are growing towards the light, in unison with nature and the world they will eventually leave behind.
I sign my work 'Unity' a name I also use when dancing - unity of self, and my hope for the world around me.
